Shedding the 3G Telecommunications name…
After years of delivering trusted number intelligence under the 3G Telecommunications umbrella, we launched Acudo as the new umbrella brand for our portfolio.
Acudo houses three established services, which our partners will already know well:
Those services will continue to remain central to what we do, while Acudo gives us a clearer way to present our portfolio, as well as enabling us to bring more of our intelligence and services together in one place.
From April 2026, Acudo will also be the home of a platform experience that unifies all of our capabilities, making it easier for teams to access the tools they need, when they need them.
Conversations that matter
MWC Barcelona is renowned for its ability to draw in the connectivity ecosystem into one place.
Across the week, we met with a wide mix of partners and industry experts, discussed opportunities with leading businesses, and shared ideas on how customer contact data can be made more reliable, more actionable, and easier to operationalise across real-world workflows.
Whether discussions focused on deliverability, routing decisions, compliance needs, or risk context, a consistent theme came through: data certainty matters, especially when every message, call, and verification step affects customer experience and operational cost.
Keynotes, roundtables, and fireside chats
Alongside partner meetings, the team also attended a range of keynotes, roundtables, and fireside chats across the week, an opportunity to hear how the wider industry is thinking about the next phase of communications, identity, risk, and intelligent infrastructure.
MWC has once again succeeded in compressing the year’s biggest conversations into a few days, and Barcelona always helps turn those conversations into practical next steps.
Ministerial Programme attendance
We were also proud to have our CEO, David Morris, attend the GSMA Ministerial Programme, the policy forum that runs alongside the event and brings together policymakers and industry leaders. The Ministerial Programme took place from 2nd to 4th March, during MWC Barcelona.
So, what next?
MWC Barcelona marks the start of the next phase, not the end of it. Now that we’ve recovered and are hot off some exciting opportunities, we’ll be following up with partners and contacts we met in Barcelona, sharing updated Acudo materials, and helping stakeholders understand how Acudo fits around the existing services they already know, while also sharing where the platform is heading from April 2026.
To everyone we met at MWC Barcelona: thank you for the time, the insight, and the warm welcome for Acudo. We’re excited for what comes next.
